Spot Dye Sub Options

Cool Dye Sub Options

Primarily dye sub goes on 100% Polyester; however, there are some creative things we can do with blends. Check out the various designs with the various garments below.

The first one is, Vincent Van Gouge's Starry Night design. The image on the left is the C2 #5100 white 100% shiny polyester, the image on the right is Light Blue on the Gildan #8000 (50-50 Blend). You can see it is not as brilliant but is a cool effect.

The next design is from the book 1984. The left image is cotton feel polyester Gildan #42000 Sport Grey, and the right one is on the Next Level #6410 Dark Heather (60% Cotton, 40% Poly). As you can see, with the right design concept, this gives an amazing vintage look.

Both of the next designs are on the Vintage Heavy Metal Next Level #6010 Tri-Blend. The colors are very faded, but with the right design of dark ink, this could be a great option. A lighter colored garment might give a little brighter look, but since it is only 25% poly it will be very subdued either way.

The design below is on the #CE111 CORE365 Adult Fusion ChromaSoft Performance T-Shirt in white and the long sleeve option in Platinum. These are 100% polyester cotton feel and for the most part dye sub well; however, on the last order we had some that got really stiff after the heat pressing and needed to be replaced (they were white short sleeve). As expected, you can see the colors on the Platinum darkened slightly compared to the white.
